How to add footnote in open office writer

    Hello,
I use open office writer for making official data. I want to add footnotes or numbers in the document in proper way. It should look decent as its my office work. Can anyone guide me on that?

    All suggestions are welcome.

Go to Tools and then click on footnotes. Then in the box that appears you can add any number or footnote you want. You can also click the Insert Footnote Directly icon on the Insert toolbar to add footnote.

If you want to add some customize footnotes and numbers to give your document a pleasant look, then click on Tools and then click Footnotes. In the box, select the numbering style from drop down menu to change the numbers in various fonts. You can also select your own text style, colors, size and area for footnote.
