    How to Remove Windows 7 RC Build Info from Desktop

    Firstly i will ask you to backup your windows or to make the restore point as if any problem occurs it will be benefit to restore directly to the point at present stage.

    Follow the following steps to remove build info from the desktop :

    1. You need to download a patch. To download the patch click here.

    2. Then Right-click on Removewatermark (.exe) file and select Run as. then click on the second option. Choose RemovewatermarkX86.exe file, if using 32-bit Windows or choose RemovewatermarkX64.exe for 64-bit Windows.

    3. A command prompt will be opened asking your permission to continue. Press/type “Y” to continue patching process.

    4. Within few seconds, a successful message will be shown. Close Command Prompt window & reboot your system.

    If watermark is seen even after rebooting the machine, then follow the following steps below:

    • Type CMD in Start menu search field and hit enter Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open Command Prompt with admin rights

    • Then type mcbuilder.exe and press on Enter. It May to take few minute to finish this process. Then close the command prompt window orders and to start again Windows 7.

    • There will be no watermark on your desktop now.
