    Add your own photo to the user account

    Tips to add your own user account image.

    First create your image and adjust it size to 48 x 48 pixels. And the format of image must be .bmp ( bitmap ) Painbrush file.
    Now copy and paste the following path in the address bar of Windows Explorer :
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures

    And paste your image in this folder.
    After that go to Start Menu. Click on the picture at the top of Menu.
    Choose your own picture and apply.
    You can also access it through the control panel > user accounts.

    You can also follow the below steps to change the photo of your current account:
    • Click on Start menu (Windows Orb), and then click on the user picture.
    • Go to step 5 OR
    • Go to: Start > Control Panel > User Accounts icon.
    • Click on the Change your picture link.
    • From the list of pictures, select the one you wish to have as your account picture.
    • You can also Browse for other pictures by navigating to the location of the image you wish to choose.
    • Finally, click on the Change Picture button.
