Disable SMS Preview in iPhone

hie everyone,

I am using iPhone. Whenever, someone sends a message to me, an incoming message preview as 1 new message appears on my front screen. Well, this is not a problem....however it's a feature that is available in all the mobile phones. For personal security and no one sees the incoming message preview on my frontscreen when I am not around, I was wondering to disable this feature in my phone. So how can I disable SMS preview in my iPhone ? Can anyone provide some tips relating this.....thnx

You can obviously disable this feature if you don't wish that your personal messages are noticed by anyone when you need to handover your phone to your friends or colleges sometimes and suddenly a message comes and displays on your screen.

For this, you don't need any application to download on your phone. You can easily disable this feature from the settings available in your phone itself.

- Go to Settings >> Passcode Lock.
- Enter the passcode you have set already
Note - Setting a passcode is very important for this feature. If by chance you haven't set any passcode, you will have to set a new password in order to use this feature.
- After entering the passcode, iPhone will bring up a setting screen.
- The setting screen have an option to turnoff “Show SMS Preview“.

Next time when a message appear in your iphone, it will just display the conventional “text message” screen rather than poping up the preview of the message.

You want to disable SMS Preview on iPhone. It's damn easy. For this, you need to enable passcode lock. If don't have, set a new passcode lock.
Then,
Simply go to Settings and then Passcode Lock. Enter the passcode there.
A setting screen will be displayed that allows you to turn off
Turnoff Show SMS Preview.
That's it....
