Everyone like to add text in photos to comment or have fun with it. Google's photo program Picasa can organize, edit, create and share your photos. With this program you can add text to your photos. Follow the steps below:
- Download Picasa 3 if you are using earlier version
- After downloading Picasa 3, it will organize all of your photo files that you have on your computer. You can sort the files by name, date or recent changes.
- Select a picture that you would like to add text to.
- Double click the picture.
- After selecting a picture editing tools appear on the right hand side of your screen.
- Select the text tool.
- Choose the font that you would like to use on your photo.
- Select the size. After the text is typed you can adjust the font size to fit the picture.
- You can adjust the colors of the words with the tools on the edit screen. One color is for the outline and the other is for the inside of the letter.
- You can use the eyedropper to pick a color from the picture to use in your text. The intensity of the outline can be adjusted with the slider bar.
- The text can be arranged to go at an angle or vertically just by turning the handle on the circle that is in the middle of the text box.
- Save your edited photo by pressing the file save as feature and rename the photo.
You can print photos, cards, posters or many other choices. Using Picasa your photo albums can be uploaded to your Google account. You can share your albums with family and friends by sending them in an album.
