To write an equation, whether in software programming, mathematical software like Matlab, for example, or in Word, you are probably using the linear mode. With Word, you can easily get in shape for such equations as they appear in books or as if you had written.
In Word, paste the equation to form, or enter it.
- Select the equation, press the Alt key and while holding it down, press =.
- Then click the down arrow of the component that appears and choose the Professional.
- The equation is then formatted as if you had written.
