How to restrict user from changing Desktop Wallpaper

If you run a company, you might want to set your company logo or any particular wallpaper on all of your users' desktops.But you will be getting tried from many user who regularly change wallpaper whenever they site on the PC.

So here is the method to prevent user from changing the desktop wallpaper.

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in the Run Option.
3. Registry window would get open and navigate to the following key
   
   
   • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
   
   
4. Under Policies key, create a new key "System".
   
5. Now select "System" key and in right-side pane, create a new.
   
6. STRING value Wallpaper and set its value to the exact path of your desired wallpaper.

There is one more way of doing it is by going through registry by setting different value of the certain registry DWORD.Here is the steps for that.

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in the Run Option.
3. Registry window would get open and navigate to the following key
   
   
   
   • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
     \ActiveDesktop\NoChangingWallpaper
   
   
   
4. Now change the value as follows.
   
   
   • O=Will allow users to change the wallpaper.
   • 1=will stop users to change the wallpaper.
   
   
5. Reboot your PC.
