How to remove new folder.exe or regsvr.exe or autorun.inf

It's very common that some of the people would be getting new folder.exe or regsvr.exe or autorun.inf error message during startup. So in the below post i will tell you the steps which you need.

Following are the steps:-

1. First search for autorun.inf file.It would be in Read Mode normally you need to change it by right clicking the file , selecting the properties and un-check the read only option
   
2. Now Open the file in notepad and delete everything and save it.
   
3. Change the file status to read only mode so that the virus could not get access again.
   
4. Click on Start->run and type msconfig
   
5. Search for regsvr and uncheck any options, click OK.
   
6. Now goto Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks, and delete the At1 task which would be listed here.
   
7. Now type regedit in the Run dialog to open the registry
8. editor.
   
9. Select on Edit -> Find and search for regsvr.exe
   
10. Delete all the occurrences of regsvr.exe
    
11. Now browse to entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon and modify the entry Shell = Explorer.exe regsvr.exe to delete the regsvr.exe from here also.
    
12. Now finally goto System 32 Folder and search for regsvr.exe. But before that uncheck Hide Protected System Files and Folders for viewing it.

In windows XP if open any folder in a drive it goes to first folder of that drive.
If we open any page in msword or in adobe reader it goes to first page of that file how to solve it...plz help me????????

Your system is infected with trojan virus. It is a dangerous virus which first creates a similar folder inside each folder and then it will turn your normal folder to an application. You can check that in detailed view. Once you double click more virus are run. Download and install Norton. Boot in safe mode by pressing F8 and run a full system scan. You might need to format your system. For that take a backup of your system.

It is easy way to remove new folder or regsvr.exe, Just right click on folder.exe and select settings from properties. Check the option of delete autorun.inf and never ask again. After checking click ok, You can show autorun.inf file will delete automatically.
