How to restore a computer Backup image in Winodws 7

Hi,
I have recently install Windows 7 as my operating System.Before formatting it i have made a backup of my computer as a imagefile in one of my drive.Now i want to restore that backup image file.Can anyone tell me what steps are needed to follow.

Following are the steps for Restoring your Computer Backup Image:-

1. Insert your bootable Dvd and goto System Recovery Options.
   
   
2. Now Select the Windows Complete PC Restore option.
   
   
3. If you have a saved backup image on a connected hard drive or another partition.
   
   
   
   • If you want to restore the latest backup, then click on Next.
     
   • To restore a different backup image, dot Restore a different backup and then press Next.
     
   • Select which backup image to restore from the list and click on Next.
     
   • Click on Finish.
   
   
   
4. Check the confirm box and click on OK.
   
   
5. When done, click on Restart Now to finish.

Now you will have your Restore you COmputer Backup Image.

If i made Dvd as my Backup than in that case what steps i need to follow.

In that case you just need to replace the 3th Step and rest are the same.

If you saved the backup image on a set of multiple DVDs, then insert the last backup image DVD from the set when prompted.

• Now Go to step 5 below.
