When iconified Firefox to return to work on other applications, it is no longer a vital need to occupy as much memory and it does virtually nothing.A setting allows you to release as much RAM as possible as soon as the Firefox window is iconified and until it is reopened.

    1. Open Firefox 3

    2. In the address bar, type about: config and press by [Enter]

    3. Click It promised, I will be careful!

    4. Click the right mouse button anywhere in the list Select New and then Boolean value

    5. Enter the name of option config.trim_on_minimize

    6. Click OK

    7. Select true
