Transmission does not download any files from torrent

I had installed Transmission on my system. I was using uTorrent before. But it slow down my system. Later on I shifted to this one because it is lightweight. I had added a few torrent that consist of science lectures. It is shared by my friend. From last two days the torrent is around 30% complete. It is extremely slow. I am having a 2mpbs line and the entire torrent is around 2GB. It must download fast. What can be the problem.

For downloading files faster you need maximum seeders and leechers for a torrent. In your case the download speed is not responsible. It happens sometime a few torrent stuck on low speed or they do not download at all.You have to wait back or find seeders for those files. Once downloaded you can also share that file with other by seeding it. You can test some other torrent client if you think your existing one has a issue.

That is correct low seeders means very slow download. You have to wait back. You also have to check with your ISP. Almost all broadband providers offer you a fup based internet speed. Once you cross your limit you cannot download anything further. You have to see that your limit for the month is over or not. Second thing you can do is try Tixati.
