How to record streaming videos on Windows 8.1

How to record a streaming video. I have a few sites which are having online lectures. And here I want to record the videos. But I am unable to find any option for that. I am using a screen recorder, but the tool is generating a big size video and has lots of borders. I do not want that. I just want the video here.

You can use a third party software for that. Like WM RECORDER 14. This is a nice video tool that can help you to record all streaming videos. It will only record the videos. You can use VLC for that. I had used it for getting some videos from YouTube. It works really nice. All you have to do is copy the url of page where the video is placed. Then go in VLC > Media > Open Network Stream > and paste the url here. Then click on convert. Provide a location and done. The player will record the videos for your. It is the easiest option.

It records good quality video and has many effective video editing solutions. Just play the video and leave the tool working. It will record the video and will give you a good resolution.
