finding out number of bookmarks in firefox

Can anyone tell me how do I find out the number of bookmarks that is saved or stored by me in firefox browser? I was searching for similar kind of add-on for this browser but cannot find anything. I know there should be a setting which will let us know how many bookmarks are stored in a particular profile or a folder in firefox, does anyone know about this? Thanks

There is a program called AM-DeadLink that you can download from the internet. What this application does is that it checks for the bookmarks and see if any one of them is not dead and will also give you the total amount of bookmarks stored in your firefox browser. The best part of this software is that not only it checks for Firefox but different browsers like Internet Explorer and Google Chrome as well.

Well, what you can do is go to Bookmarks and then Organize Bookmarks and then File > Export. All the bookmarks will be exported to My docs as bookmarks.html. Just try to open it with Notepad+ and then select all and in the below you will get the complete list of bookmarks saved in your Firefox browser. Hope this helps.

You can even try to open the bookmarks.html file in a Windows and then go to Files and Open file and use the %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\ in the File name field to go to the profile folder and then use the bookmarklet on that file, simply copy and paste it in the url bar. If you want then you can also save the bookmarklet as a bookmark.
