Fix IE 11 error 'encountered a problem and needs to close'

I upgraded to new Windows 8.1 Preview last month which also brought Internet Explorer 11 along with it. Well i enjoyed playing with this new browser for the couple of weeks but now it has started giving me several problems. Its been over a week now, whenever i am try to launch the browser, it crashes with an error message stating:

"encountered a problem and needs to close"

I tried running troubleshooter, and many more things to get it fixed but yet the problem remained as it is. IE is becoming annoying to be now. Is there any way to fix the problem causing this error? Atleast let me know where is the issue? Thanks for your helps.

Did you installed any add-ons during these period? I'm asking this because that problem can also be caused because of any incompatible add-on. Probably this could be because of temporary files as well and some other reasons. What you need to do here is trying running the browser first without Add-ons and see if it starts and works properly. In order to run IE without Add-ons, simply type iexplore -extoff in Run Box (Win+R) and press enter.

If it works good without add-ons, then you will need to check which add-on is crashing the browser by enabling them one by one. And if that doesn't helps, try removing temporary Internet files, clear history and cookies.

Here is the troubleshoot I found in a MS KB. Just try out, hope it helps:

Remove Smart Tags Support for Internet Explorer
Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
In Control Panel, start the Add or Remove Programs tool (or the Add/Remove Programs tool).
Click Smart tags support for Microsoft Internet Explorer, and then click Change/Remove (or click Add/Remove).

Disable Smart Tags in Internet Explorer
    Start Internet Explorer.
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Enable smart tags check box.
Click OK, and then restart Internet Explorer.
