how to recover lost firefox bookmarks

Hi..due to some problems my hard drive crashed completely and I used to recover most of the important files and documents using the data recovery tool...but lost all my bookmarks from firefox...is there anyway to recover the bookmark from the old partition??

I now format the hard drive and repartition the hard drive completely, is there any way to retrieve the bookmark using recovery tool, etc??
