Firefox 15 problem with Facebook and Kaspersky antivirus

I just installed Firefox 15 in my computer and I have a huge problem in it. All the websites that I tried on it opened and functioned properly without any problem. But when I start Facebook, it fails to log in. I put my username and password. Instead of showing my profile, it shows some random page which doesn’t have URL of home page. Also this random page is completely blank. I have Kaspersky anti-virus installed in it. Is it affecting the working of Facebook in any way?

I think that the problem must be caused because of too many cookies and temporary files in your computer. You can type %temp% in your computers Run or search bar to get the folder with temporary files, delete all of them. Also delete the cookies from the web browser so that web browser can get newly formed cookies instead of updating the old ones.

I think that since Facebook have added new ads on their website which you see on the log in page. Maybe the browser is blocking these ads thinking that they are some malicious pop-ups or ads. So it must be blocking them leading to improper working of Facebook.

Re: Firefox 15 problem with Facebook and Kaspersky antivirus

According to me Rashid must be right. The advertisements that we are seeing on the main page of Facebook are new. Kaspersky and Firefox 15 must have not been programmed to detect these advertisements as safe and thus they must be blocking your access to Facebook.

Also it can be some plug-in or add-on that must be blocking the access to the Facebook. Try uninstalling or removing the plug-ins that is causing the problem, maybe it will help you.
