Why Safari 5.1 relaoding web page while using back button or gesture?

I wanted to discuss strange thing with Safari browser. When I am clicking on the back button or gesture to reload the page the web pages are getting reloaded. I tried with Google Chrome and I did not got the same behavior. If you are having any useful information to make the thing working.

If you are using Magic Mouse or laptop Touchpad, to stop reloading of page you should use the single finger slider from right side to left.

The thing which you have mentioned over here is absolutely correct.

Currently I am using magic mouse and I done below mentioned steps to resolve the problem.

Clicked on Swipe between pages option and clicked on drop down triangle.

After that swipe left or right finger with two fingers to the one.
