Massive extender is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox which helps in installation of multiple add-ons added in user’s collection. It just requires a single click to install all the add-ons. It is available in 2 versions, for Firefox 4, version 1.0 is available and for other versions of Firefox, version 0.9.6 & 0.9.7 is available. These versions differ in appearance, functionality and performance.
Some version of add-on collector are not compatible with Massive extender. So Mozilla has released an updated version of add-on collector for massive extender. This version exposes a small bug in Massive extender which allows some users to use it with older version of add-on collector. It is known as Add-on collector version 1.1.0.
Another unstable version of Massive Extender is available. Massive extender 0.0.2, it is compatible with add-on collector version 1.1.0. It has UI according to Windows XP native theme. It is improved in performance in minor ways. But as said, it is unstable, no bugs have been reported.
Another version of add-on collector is good for use with Massive extender. Add-on collector version 0.9.1, it is compatible with Thunderbird version 3.0. Simple UI for simpler batch actions. Localized version with support for local language.
To switch between Simple mode and advance mode of Massive extender, right click on the batch action toolbar header. This will generate a small popup which provides option to switch between simple mode and advanced mode. The advanced version provides all the options from its previous version, while the simple version just gives the options which are most useful.
