SeaMonkey 2.6.1 is not able to save tab and session

Recently I have installed SeaMonkey 2.6.1 on my system. I found that it is not able to save any tab and session as well. When I am trying to close the window even did not ask at all. I searched on the Google to get the idea of the problem but there was nothing which I can use to fix the matter. any help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

According to me you are getting an issue with browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once. You have to go for about: config file and search for the above mentioned perfernces.
Here you have to right click on it and click on Toggle.
If the value is Flase then make it to True.

If above mentioned solution does not work for you then you should go for following preferences.

browser.showQuitWarning

and you have to replace with

browser.warnOnQuit

What do you get when you do the following?

• Click on Edit and go for Preferences and click on Display.
  
• You have to set to Blank Page and whatever you are having over there.
• 
  
• Also you can try to resolve the issue by doing Restore Previous Session to setting.

In this particular situation I recommend that you should create a new profile on the browser. After that visit some of the web pages and quit the browsing after saving session. Post the results after doing above mentioned step.

You have to check command-line options.

See that if you are having user.js or not. If you are having that the override the same to defaults.

Finally see if any of the addons are interfering while browsing.
