Unable to play swf files in Google chrome

Hi friends I am getting error message in “Missing-Plugin” so , I am unable to play .swf files on websites on some web site but I able to play on other sites I am also able to play YouTube swfs. But it gives me missing Plugin error sometimes, I don’t know what exact problem is, so guys if anyone know anything about this issue or anyone can give me better solution than please let me know.

Even I have this problem at my office computer I use Oracle Grid Control database monitoring tool. With this Oracle Grid Control database monitoring tool I am able to view the performance detail and some flash bade pages like YouTube.

Even I had the same problem with my Google chrome I disable the native Chrome Plugin, to find the Plugin go to in Wrench then go to options after that go to content settings, in content setting you will find plugins, disable every individual plugins now scroll to flash then disable Shockwave Flash.

I tired your solution but it doesn’t worked for me as there was only on flash version listed there I tried to disable that and saw that I was not at all bale to play any kind of flash containing video, I forget to tell that I have adobe flash installed on Ubuntu.

Found same issue with my Google chrome few months ago, I had done various research and found that the problem was due to some configs that are ~$ echo rm -rf $HOME/.config/google-chrome and ~$ echo rm -rf $HOME/.cache/google-chrome so I clean this configs and then reattach my system into Google sync, after doing this my Plugin works perfectly.
