Bookmarks loading slow on Safari 5.1.2.

I don’t know the reason why Bookmarks loading slow on Safari 5.1.2. Whenever I am trying to edit or organize file names I am getting spinning beach ball for couple of minutes. I could not find out the reason what is wrong happening? Any help to fix the matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

In this particular situation I recommend that you should empty browser cache from the menu bar.

• You have to click on Safari and click on Empty Cache.
• Restart Safari and see whether it is working or not.
• Still the issue seems to persisting than you should Reset Safari.

I think you will need to troubleshooting .plist file.

1. Close Safari if you have already closed and launch Finder window.
2. Now go for Home Folder in Side bar and open Library folder and go for Preferences.
3. You have to go for com.apple.Safari.plist file from Preferences folder to Desktop.
4. Now launch the browser and see whether any issue is there. if there is no issue then delete .plist file.

Many times the issue can resolve by removing bookmarks on your computer.

You have to launch Safari and go for Preferences - Security.

Click on Show Cookies buttons and simply delete all Apple cookies.

Finally restart Safari.
