Unable to save PDF file on Safari 5.1.2

Everything was working perfectly fine before I installed the Safari 5.1.2 and now I am not able to save looks as if it shows as web content instead of displaying it as or download to the desktop as PDF. Is there anything that I can so to again receive the PDF saving option? Is there any one here can help me on this I would be really appreciating that.

Yeah there is something wrong with the safari 5.1.2. My bank makes statements obtainable as PDF's. I can see these on Safari, and I be able to switch to Preview on Safari if I like, although I can't able to save them. I am thinking I must be able to do it from Preview although the 'Save' and 'Save As ' option are grayed out. I have looked everywhere but not able to find anything on this

Anyone know of a solution ?

I have also came across this issue which might make no longer select the "Save as pdf" option valid in Safari . The only alternative left over is Page Source plus Web Archive .
Thinking the Adobe internet plug-in, but there is no help , . Turns out you can't yet print to PDF with these files, don't familiar with why. As well right-click in Safari or else Preview give no helpful options.

    Any suggestions?

Hey can you inform me that if you have put in Adobe CS products like as Acrobat... it might be a fault with the installation of the Acrobat plugging that disabled the option. Try to remove it see if that works for you .

I had the similar issue, on the Leopard. It's my first Mac, I've buy it just 3 month ago. the moment I open the pdf document, if you take the pointer to the underneath of the visualization, a few icons activate, in gray. They are zoom out, zoom in, open PDF in sample plus lastly save pdf in download folder.

I think this might help you. I have the same version of safari browser yow require the Adobe Acrobat Reader otherwise any another pdf reader on PC
    • go to the File menu go to "Save As..."
    • The save to box that shows up will display the internet suggestion to the server store the pdf page for the website.
    • Now just Click to save the file on the PC. .
    • Where the internet suggestion is displayed in the Save As box, again retype the name of the pdf. File to somewhat you can memorize it by and after that end it by typing .pdf
    .

That’s it now the file must appear on your computer. just double click on the icon to open in Acrobat Reader.

    Hope I assist

Re: Unable to save PDF file on Safari 5.1.2

It is extremely annoying to have had the alternative before to stop PDF show in Safari though now being forced to go through additional steps to save the files. I have been printing shipping labels by the US Postal Service, although once I upgraded on 5.2.1 this function failed. USPS customer service recommends me to revert to a earlier version of Safari. If this is a error in the software, Can anybody please notify me whether there is still a choice to turn this unwelcome feature off?

I've had a similar issue with not being able to download PDFs from Safari 5.1.5 and haven't had any luck finding a solution anywhere on the web (although I have been amazed at the number of people who suggest File - Save As). I starting playing around with different settings and this appears to have fixed the problem

Right click in PDF – Page Display Properties – Documents – View documents in PDF/A mode - Never
