How to set Mozilla Firefox 8.0 menus to German language ?

i am currently using Mozilla Firefox 8.0 and i my friend does not know more of English and therefore she is unable to understand quite e few menus in the menu bar and interested in German languages to have it. is it possible . therefore I wish to change from English to German menus. How can i do that .

yeah according to you there are many who find it convenient to use in there own languages. i should say here taht there is a Installation copy for your language and so you are able to make use of German language on the menus.

• in the location bar try by typing about:config
  
• make a search for general.useragent.locale .
  
• make a change of it's value to de or de-DE.
• you will have what you wished for.

i am finding problem sin my case as In the about:config - Tab it is already >de< selected; and all menus are in English. i don't have any idea about it and could not solve the problem.

to simply state i can provide solution which will be easier in your case.

1. in your Tools option from the main menu, you will find the Options menu item.click it.
2. click the Advanced icon from the Options dialogue box , click the General tab afterward.
3. you will see Choose.. button.and then click it in the Languages section
4. there will be Languages dialogue box showing your present language preferences.
5. there will be a list of all the available languages. make Use of the scroll bar to find your desired language, and then choose the one which you want .
6. then click the Add button.
7. click the OK button on the Languages dialogue box, after finishing the whole procedure and then click OK to the Options dialogue box.
8. at last there will be the desired language what you want.
