Need DC++ settings to connect with the Tikona hub

I am able to connect to the hub and also with this I can only download when I am connected to Tikona internet. Otherwise I am not able to connect. And also recently I have switched off the firewall, I am here to get the configuration setting for the DC++ for connecting with the Tikona hub. I am having following requirements for that and which are as:

    • Connection type (active or passive? ) if active where can we get IP?
    • Connection type (LAN T3/LAN T1/CABLE) ?
    • Any other settings in DC or computer?

Ok friends, I am having the setting for that and which are as:
For that I will suggest you to download the DC++ any version,
And then right click My Network Places go to properties> right click on local area connection 2 and go to properties.
And then go to the internet protocol click on properties and over there, enter the following details::

    IP add 10.6.134.xxx
    subnet mask 255.255.255.254
    default gateway 10.6.134.1
    PREF DNS 203.197.12.30
    alt DNS 202 .54. 1. 18

and after doing this, you will need to click on advanced> click on DNS button then click on add and then put :

    172.31.6.125
    172.31.6.5

also you will need to add the hubs in DC++ favorites as:

    10.6.106.43:1024
    10.6.106.6:1024 and connect

And once this hubs are get connected at that time you can also connect many other hubs with this.

But after trying with this settings also I get that this is also not working fine for me. I am not getting the proper steps for this setting. Please reply me back about this.

    subnet mask 255.255.255.254

My lan card says the combination is invalid

IP add 10.6.134.xxx wht is the last three digit in the ip address

Which operating system have you installed in your pc? I think that microsoft intentionally wanted to prevent assignment of public ip adresses to lan adapters (in order to sell win2k servers, domain controllers and ... ??) which is why you are getting that error.
