unable to erase initial character in Skype for automation calls

I am using Skype for quite some time and always had a query. Whenever I feed a character it cannot be erased I have tried numerous times, I tried backspace, delete, but didn’t work. Please tell me if any other options are available for erasing the initial characters in Skype while making automated calls.

Try doing this call -> show dial pad

But let me know whether you are using Skype to Skype calls because this is only available for making or receiving voicecalls from phones.

For automated call making from Skype to Skype I am unable to erase the initial character hence when I try to add new character I get an error prompt.

For using Skype for Skype to Skype calls first open the dial pad by finding the user from the contact list and avoid errors.

But if using for other phones/mobiles try to click the number from dial pad to remove error possibilities. If you find it still not resolved try to reinstalling the Skype.

For reinstalling follow these steps.

1 uninstall the one available on your computer go to control panel
2 select add and remove program and got the list of programs and select Skype
3 now Right click on Skype in the list and choose uninstall option.
4 once it is removed totally u go to install it again
5 click on this Download to install Skype there are two options one is for free and other is chargeable select the one you want.
