No they are totally different than each other at whatever you concern such as their requirement and functioning. I would like to tell you about some of the difference that I have noticed rather they are common.

    Video calls:

1- This are a one-on-one video and voice exchange with a single person at a time.
2- It requires a connected webcam, microphone, and speakers.
3- necessitates that you and your friend use Yahoo messenger 10 or higher.

    Webcam sharing:

1- Is a live video feed that can be transmit to one or more people at the same time who are able to access it only with your acquiescence.
2- Needs that you commence a detach PC-to-PC voice call if you want to have a voice exchange at the same time.
3- Only obliged a connected webcam.
4- Permits you and your friend to be on different versions of Yahoo! Messenger.

off course there is special requirement that you must have to have or else you’ll not get the performance you are expecting.

    - A PC with the Windows XP operating system or higher than that with a 1 GHz CPU processor and 512 MB of memory.

    - Broadband Internet connection speed: Minimum of 300 Kbps.

    - Video card: Minimum of 96 MB memory at least.

    - Webcam: whichever good company you can have.

    - Ensure you have the most recent version of Microsoft DirectX installed.
