The connection between the routers and the receiving computer is normally depends on the surrounding areas, actually where the router is kept. And the type of connection you are using for this router. As per the router feature such router support the range of 150-200 feet. However if some obstacle or something is present in between the router and the receiving device then may some variation occurs in the normal range for this routers.

This type of router supports up to 300Mbps. It also have strong security features with the additional larger range which can be used to browse internet, share files, stream video etc professionally. If we talk about the range of this Wireless-N300 Router then maximum range it allows for the best performance is between 140- 210 foot. Within this range you can get the best performance for these routers.

For the better performance of using this router is that is to be the nearby of this router, don’t kept your receiving system more far from this router. If your system present within the range 30 to 130 feet then you get the best performance by this router.

However the wireless router always show there demerits for the range only, but accordingly they are the best if we talk about the wire and cable type connection, because they first of all occupy some space and also there is always some kind of problems are mostly seen for the wire malfunctioning or the wire failure, but if we talk about wireless router then it is best in compare to wire connection. But the things only matter is the maximum range but it also adaptable by us manually. So according to me the maximum distance range for most of the wireless router is in between 0 to 180 feet’s, within this range the router can work better.
