Well looking at the matter I am sorry to say that you will not be able to install the FPSE on the IIS 7.5. if you try to install the same on the IIS 7.5 then I let you know that you will get the bunch of errors while doing the same. In case you have competed with installation of the FPSE on the IIS 7.5 you will not be able to make the use of it. Also there is no announcement from the Microsoft end on this particular matter.

Yes there is no plan to support the FPSE on the IIs 7.5. I let you know that the demand of the FPSE has been deceased from past couple of yours. Particularly in terms of the protocol like WebDav and FTP. If you are using the WebDav redirector into the Windows Vista. You will be able to map the drive to the web site over the WebDav and you can open it. You should open into the FPSE friend clinet and you will be able to reseve all the FontPage metadata.

You will be able to migrate to the FPSE site to the WebDav if you are having the IIS 7.0. also you have to see that the following configuration has been done on the server.
    • The Default Website should be created by the IIS 7.0 installation should be exits.
    • There should be Request filtering role service would be installed.
    • Also you should installed have installed WebDav extension module should be installed.

Well everything is dependent on the version of the Visual Studio which you have installed on the computer of yours. Also you can use the FTP or one of the other options for the deployment. The Visual Studio 2010 is having quite power ful web development tool option for the fully deploy or the application also including the configuring the settings. So you should get the visual Studio 2010 and see whether it is working or not.

When you are you are supposed to migrating the FPSE website to the WebDev and there should be several folder should be accessed from the normal HTTP access. You should conduct the detailed examination of all the files and into the FPSE based website. Also you might require to conduct an examination for the FPSE folder in order to create the rules for the filtering the request. So examine the thing carefully I am hoping that it would be useful to you.
