When crystallized, the sheer size of the catalog as a problem of indexing, which is also caused by long-term optimization measures cannot be resolved, there is also the advice to simply outsource from a catalog of several individual catalogs. The data will then be on a separate domain, so that can be achieved in each sub shop for a full coverage. Before taking this step should be to tell the shop owner, but how much work is involved. Possibly can be set up here by simplifying automation.
