Unable to access hotmail with windows 7 and ie8

In my desktop system, I was using the Windows xp operating system , but later on as every one was going for the change , so did I , in its place I had installed Windows 7 operating system , but later on it came up some problems But after upgrading to windows 7 I am not able to access my hotmail account using IE8. I am in the doubt that was this issue due to the upgrade I made from Windows xp to Windows 7 operating system . Please tell me I am stuck in a mess .

As you said that you can access the account after starting Internet explorer 8 32-bit in No Add-ons mode, if you reset the internet explorer settings should be able to do so after resetting IE Advanced settings because the Reset will stop or eliminate all of your Add-ons.That being said, see if you can decide which of your Add-ons is the root cause of this problem problem, One last note: It may be that one of the "realtime protections" are disallowing the Reset from doing what it's expected to achieve .

The first test you are supposed to do is try connecting your PC directly to the DSL modem. If all works fine from there (it did for me) and if you are aware that the issue is in the router configuration. No corrupt cookies here. My present theory (just selected this up from a bit research on the web - require to test at home tonight) is that the router is using the incorrect protocol to link. The DSL uses PPPoE, but this can seem like DHCP to the router as both obtain IP addresses automatically.

Well you can check your router settings and make it certain e it is using PPPoE. Then verify the MTU setting. This is the utmost packet size the router can manage (at least that is what I know it to denotes, and I am a techie). The internet should be capable to manage up to 1500. If changing to PPPoE does not resolve the issue right away review this setting and make sure it is set at 1500.

They might have modified the address of the DNS server on some day ; this is ordinary, and one of the factors for DHCP in the initial place. POP mail is received directly from the server, so DNS is not an problem there .

i had a similar issue on a clients computer after i removed a virus, somehow the virus changed the year and date on the pc, which was giving me certificate issues ,once i updated the time and date hotmail worked as normal.

i have faced the same issue on mine internet explorer as well and to solve this issue i have followed the below steps: first clear the all caches on your IE 8 and after that make sure that you have enable the JavaScript and other setting that you desire. go through this and after that again open the IE8 and after that go through your issue.
