Opera 11: BACK function not working

I have Opera 11 and I think that I should have really not have installed this. Well it happened accidentally. Now the thing is that I have seen a number of issues with this version of the browser. Now the thing here is that I have noticed that on the Opera 11 the BACK function is really not working in the fine manner. Well I have seen that when I press the Backspace key sometimes I can see the page that I was viewing before but most often I have seen that it does not work. Same is the thing when I go with using the Mouse. Please come up with suggestions.

Well let me tell you that you are not the only one having this issue. It has been already reported to the Opera Tech Support and I think that they will soon attend to this issue and will make the update or will release some of the patches that can solve the issue here. Without the help of Opera I really think that the solution to this case is really impossible. Do the things in this manner and then let me know if what I have asked for is really helping in your case.

If you are having the issue with the Opera 11 and you really want to start with something then here is what I would like to suggest you. On the temporary basis see if you can disable the JavaScript. All you will be required to do is press the F12 key and then just uncheck the JavaScript box. This is the shortcuts of doing this thing and if that does not go in your way then you can do the same by going via the Menu option that is present in the Opera browser.

It will be great if you can have the clean installation of the Opera 11. If you have just made the upgrade then let me tell you that it will be a better option if you can have the clean installation of the things for you. All you will be required to do is go to the Control Panel and then uninstall the current version of the Opera that you have there. After this you will be required to make use of the CCleaner and Registry cleaner so that the traces of the previous installation can be also removed. After this you will be required to make the installation. Hope that this will rectify the issue.

The issue can be because of the Plug-ins or the Add-ons that you might have installed. Please see if you can get all of them disabled and then after installing one by one see if you can get the issue with which Add-on. This is really the best way to see for the culprit here. Make the thing in this manner and then let me know if what I have said really helped you. With the new browser it may happen that the older add ons might not be compatible and hence you might be getting the issue.

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions. Well I had the issue with the back key and I was glad to have the solution in the first go. Well I know that the suggestion or the solution that you all gave is temporary. But let me tell you that it simply worked for me. I disable the Java Script and now I have things working in a pretty fine manner. Will see for the Add-ons and the Plug-ins and will let you know where the issue is exactly.
