Browser only working in safe mode

    Hi all,
after scanning my computer with Avast my browsers have stopped working in normal mode but they're still ok in safe mode. I've been having a bit of bother in the last while: computer running slow and CPU usage constantly near 100% even when I'm not running any app at all. Things improved a little since I started using Advanced SystemCare but feeling that something was still strange, I run Avast and here I am.
    Here's my HijackThis log file:

Re: Browser only working in safe mode

Try to ping the internet and see what you are getting. Also go to command prompt and run "ipconfig /all" and tell me what you are getting. I think this is related to the Proxy which is not working properly. Just Turn Off the Proxy setting and then try to run in Normal mode with the browser. I hope this will resolve the issue related to the browser connectivity in Normal mode.

Re: Browser only working in safe mode

Download and run superantispyware. I was put onto this program because of an annoying popup (XP or Vista plus all OS preceding)

Superantispyware is a good program and remember to update it before scanning. A scan may take 45mins.

afterwards clean up the registry with this

    Clean up pc and IE
To clean up run this Microsoft’s windows live program. It does registry, spyware , virus , disk clean up and defrag

It takes 2 hours or more so once it starts to load x file of x you can leave the computer and go to bed etc.

Have you tried to reinstalling the web browsers. Since a number of times it happens as web browsers are corrupted and these kind of problem are fixed as soon as the browser is reinstalled on your system. Since all the corrupted files will be replaced. If the problem persists still then simply reply back also tell me which of the web browsers are you using.

Is it possible that all my browsers went at the same time? I use Firefox, IE and Chrome. None of them work in Normal settings, only in Safe Mode.
    Thank you for your help

Re: Browser only working in safe mode

Have you tried running the System Restore to a point in time BEFORE this problem started. See if that resolves the problem. Check your Windows Firewall (and/or any other firewall you may be using) to make sure Ports 80 and 443 are exceptions that are not blocked. Temporarily disable all your security software and see if that makes any difference. If not, turn them back on for the time being.
