    PaleMoon for Firefox makes browsing faster on Windows OS

    I am using a Windows Vista operating system on my machine and Mozilla Firefox is the default browser on this windows system. I know that Firefox is not able to explore its functionality 100% on the Windows based machine as it runs more faster on the Linux operating system. I have heard that PaleMoon Project have made some modifications which can make browsing faster using the same Firefox on the Windows machine. Can you guys give me some proper information about this PaleMoon.

    Pale Moon is an optimized version of Internet browser Firefox specially designed for Windows systems. Developed under Open Source license, Firefox may be modified and redistributed freely. The creator of Pale Moon took the opportunity to concoct a version of the browser more suited to Windows systems. Optimizations are on the support of modern processors and the elimination of secondary features of the browser. Main advantage of Pale Moon: speed with performance gains of up to 25%.

    In practice, most processors subsequent to a Pentium IV are supported. As for features, Pale Moon is silent on support ActiveX, accessibility features and parental control. Lighter, Pale Moon retains the qualities of Firefox and is compatible with its popular extension system. Only downside, Pale Moon is available only in English even though Firefox is translated into many languages. Faster, lighter, Pale Moon is a boon for fans of Firefox on Windows.

    re: PaleMoon for Firefox makes browsing faster on Windows OS

    Pale Moon is an Internet browser with the same basic functions as Firefox, but with rendering pages faster (25% guaranteed by the developers, actually more in my opinion). To summarize, the case could be said that Pale Moon is a Firefox rid of superfluous (in English and only installable on Windows). Thus lightened, it is capable of much better performance than Firefox, especially on older machines. For a browser that has a higher power, it is not enough to optimize the process of compilation (ie building a program from source code) must also select the best options and choose the most efficient facility to run this software. Pale Moon, although it is very similar to Firefox, do not have as many features as the latter. Some options that were not subject to high demand have been removed, including avoiding interfering with the operation and display Web pages.

    re: PaleMoon for Firefox makes browsing faster on Windows OS

    Firefox is a browser that I really enjoy. Secure, it offers a multitude of plugins easier navigation. Nevertheless, it presents a huge failure. On Windows, it is ultra-intensive resources. Is such that a Firefox abandoned a few hours you will consume all the memory in your PC up to the knees. For this reason, courageous developers have had the good idea to get into the project PaleMoon: firefox upgraded to a Windows operating system. Indeed, the Mozilla Foundation does not, strictly speaking, optimized its product for this platform. However, there is a 25% performance of Firefox is announced, while relying on the same engine as our good old browser from Mozilla. Of course, benefit from a more efficient browser does not lie simply in an optimization process of compilation is also a drastic selection of features associated with some fine tuning of the office. The consequence is that PaleMoon does not incorporate all possibilities of Firefox. However, much remains as, for example, management of plugins.

    According to me PaleMoon is:
    1. optimization of Firefox for Windows suitable for main processors on the market;
    2. 100% compatibility with Firefox;
    3. better memory management for not finding his machine in agony
    4. an optimized support of SVG
    5. compatibility with all Firefox extensions
    6. ability to repurpose the existing Firefox profile on the machine.
