You attach a new router, and cannot acquire online on the way to the Internet. The Setup wizard will identify active IP still though you have a PPPoE connection. Going to router status on the administration page, there is a personal IP address on Internet port. 192.168. X.x range. The Speed Stream 5100b's defaulting configuration is "PPPoE on the Modem" — similar a built-in PPPoE client convenience feature that s ends login ID and password to SBC. This pppoe issue is come from Network Bridge. You checked your network from your link.

At what period you make use of a router you no longer use the software that came from AT&T to fix to your PPPOE account. You require to inventory into your router and select PPPOE as your internet connection type and enter your User name and password for your ISP into the locale area provide. This technique your router will complete all the linking to your ISP and currently present you with a for every single one time on internet connection. What type of modem are you using. As well you connecting the ethernet from the modem into the LAN and WAN (Internet) port and not single of the regular ethernet ports on the router.

I suppose I'm the only one who is interested in this problem. Any way you will carry on to report my battle with dir 320. So, You have configured your ZTE ADSL modem to connect to internet mechanically enable DHCP server, connected it to dir 320 by the use of WAN port, misused the connection type in router to mechanical DHCP. Router received an IP: 192.168.1.2, however the DNS server for router was fix to the modem's IP 192.168.1.1!!!!???? And there was no internet!!! next to least, losing hope to configure the relation you have disabled it, changed the process mode in Setup-> highly developed routing to Router. Assigned to router IP:192.168.1.2 and connected modem to the routers LAN2 port. Of course, this is not a solution, but it works.
