Unable to set up the home screen in mozilla firefox

I am using the internet on my laptop for doing my office work. I am using the Firefox browser and running the Windows 7 OS on my system. It was working fine on the. Due to some reason i have to format my laptop. After formatting the laptop i again installed the Firefox software. I have also set the Google as my home page. When i open the browser, then i am not able to get the Google screen on it, instead of that i get the handycafe logo. Even after doing the necessary settings i am not able to open my Google home screen. Does any one know what the cause of this problem is? If you have any ideas related with this issue, and then help me out. Please help.

Select the option Manage Search Engines and delete the Handycafe entry

According to me the problem you are facing is not the big one, you do this try in order to fix your problem.
    1. Open the Firefox browser window.
    2. You will need to click on the small black arrow on the left of your Firefox near the search bar.
    3. You will be getting a drop down list.
    4. From the drop down list you will require to select the option Manage Search Engines.
    5. Here you will need to delete the Handycafe entry.
    6. After deleting it now move the Handycafe entry in the list.

It will definitely help you in solving your issue.

Set the option not to restore the last session

I have a solution for fixing this issue.
1 You will require going to the Tools option in the browser.
2 Then you go to the options.
3 Inside the options you need to select the general tab.
4 Here you try to delete the Home Page entry.
5 f you are making the use of the add-ons for controlling the sessions, then you require checking their options.
6 See whether they are set to restore the last session or the home page.
7 You need to set it to the option of not restore the last session.
    8 Close the entire window.
Try this out and give me the reply accordingly.
