    Norton Site safety warnings on Firefox upgrade

    I am facing a problem with Firefox. Whenever i try to browse the internet using the Mozilla Firefox browser The following window appears when at start Firefox with the following warning : " That you've determined the Firefox add- ons Following are Known to cause Stability or security problems " Any body know what could be done to get this issue fixed.

    It appears as the Firefox has identified the following additional applications can cause problems of stability or security.

    To resolve the problem with Firefox, updated Java version 6 to version 20. If you see a warning message, follow these steps:
    1. Click the check box Disable ( Off) appears on screen.
    2. Click Restart Firefox (restart Firefox).
    3. Download Recommended latest version of Java.

    This is because Firefox disables previous versions of Java Deployment toolkit ( DT). It can affect older versions of Java 6u20 . Removing older versions of plug-in toolkit for Java deployment. You will find below the different methods to remove an old version of the plug-in toolkit to deploy Java on your system, only if you do not pass to the Java version 6.

    You can try to get this problem fixed using the steps which are mentioned below:

    1. Check your computer for the file npdeploytk.dll . (Using the Windows search option )
    2. When you find the file , delete it.
    3. Now restart Firefox and verify that the Java plugin 6.0.200.2 DT before the plugin does not appear in Firefox.

    I would recommend you to try the following procedures.

    • Open Windows Explorer (for example , click Start, then My Computer ).
    • Go to C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jre6 \ bin \ new_plugin .
    • Verify that there is npdeploytk.dll file .
    • Delete it .
    • Now restart Firefox and verify that the Java plugin 6.0.200.2 DT before the plugin does not appear in Firefox.
