    How to use Prime95?

    Description :
This program rests from your CPU by calculating prime numbers. After starting a small window opens with the headline "Run a Torture" Test. Of the four choices, choose the lowest "Custom". Under "Number of torture tests to run:" You have the 4 set for the number of processor cores, which will make each core running a test. In "Torture test settings" let the value for "Min FFT size (in K)," eight and "Max FFT size (in K): 'at 4096th Put another tick in the checkbox for "Run FFTs in place." The values for "Memory to use (in MB):" and "Time to run each FFT size (in minutes):" You can also leave at 1600 and 15. Confirm the test now with "Okay. Now each processor core is optimally utilized. If one of the windows in an error message, you know that you have to increase either the voltage or your CPU has reached its limits. Prime 95 scaled his burden so well that they can make for a stable test run with your overclocked computer from surfing and playing all without restriction.

    AMD Overdrive :
With this program you can comfortably on Windows overclock your AMD computer. In our tests, we could control it as successful as the frequencies and voltages with the BIOS. Note that the overdrive settings in the BIOS does not permanently stored. This is designed to explore the maximum clock frequency ideal, as incorrect settings are history after a crash.
Before you begin, you must be in the top menu bar right down to the Cookies and below click "Advanced mode". In the beginner mode, we were able to increase the CPU clock by a mere 65 MHz, and are also the PCI-Express slots have been clocked - this can lead to crashes. Therefore, use "the" extended mode.

If this is on, come on 'Performance management / clock speed / voltage "to the options that you set reference clock multipliers (except for the memory clock rate) and voltages for CPU, chipset and memory. In the lower half of the screen are sliders that allow you to make the rhythm-and right stress-related settings. Furthermore, the tool shows the current and the acquired values.
In the box for the clock speeds you change the multiplier for all CPU cores, or any individual, if you deselect the checkbox. The overclocking of individual nuclei but does not really make sense. Among these, from top to bottom, the controller for the HyperTransport multiplier, reference and PCI-Express clock. The latter, you should never change, as you gain by increasing any power, your system may become unstable.
The box contains the tensions from left to right, the voltage of the processor, integrated memory controller, the memory itself, HyperTransport, the North- and

    South Bridge :
When is it appropriate to what the value is how to explain change, we in the paragraphs for overclocking the normal Phenom processors and the Black Editions. To confirm the amended options, press the bottom right of the "Apply" button. In our test, it has proved itself, first the core voltage to increase if necessary, and to confirm with "Apply" before you increase the multiplier or reference clock. Otherwise, there may be occasional crashes. The "stability test" can be reached at the tabs on the menu item "Performance management. This itself can produce no errors after several hours duration, while Prime could provoke the 1995. Here, our experience in line with those of other users. Therefore, we advise you to use Prime 95 to check your settings. Under "Status Monitor" on the top menu bar there are three tabs for CPU, (ATI) GPU motherboard, the readings such as temperature, load, frequency and voltage and display. In particular, the temperature values, you must keep in mind when you increase the voltage of the CPU.

Intel And this does not? The Q6600 you can even overclock to 1.2 GHz. This very old CPUs run even with water cooling to 3.6 Ghz. What should be there now drann so great? 3.2 Ghz I have with simple air cooling splashing around without something to touch up the tension. With new technology, I imagine much more. For me pointless to buy something.
