IE8 does not remember my log in details

Internet Explorer 8 does not keep track of the password to login credentials despite the record box checked. Can anyone tell me am i missing something. It would be better if you can provide a solution for this i would really appreciate your help in this matter. I would appreciate your help in this matter.

I think you need to follow the steps below in order to get rid of this problem with the internet explorer 8

• Go to Internet Explorer menu and select Tools.
• Go to Internet Options then click Content Tab
• Finally , AutoComplete then Settings.
• Here select all the options
• Remember to check Prompt me to save passwords.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem except that don't have Vista once when I right click on Internet Explorer I am not proposing "Run as Administrator". I have not checked the box "do not prompt to save password" I just wanted it not hold the password but now I want it to remember the same and I also checked the boxes in the "AutoComplete" but it is not working. Hopefully my problem (and that of many others appear) is not too difficult to resolve, soon,

You had to have the Administrator rights when you do the check marks under Internet Options from Windows Vista. Try this: Right click on Internet Explorer and select: Run as administrator and recheck all the options under Internet Explorer. This should help you to get the problem solved if the problem persists still then i would suggest you to see How to fix Internet Explorer 8 or 7 in windows 7

I think you have disable this feature from your browser by mistake. so you will have to enable this option once again and for this try the below mentioned option.

1. Open the internet explorer browser and select tools.
2. Here select Internet options then select content.
3. Then select Autocomplete and settings also uncheck forms.
