    New firmware T CHL7DEUC 3000.2 for B750 & B650

Currently i am using Samsung B750 1080p LCD HDTV at my home and i have heard that new firmware 3000.2 has been released. Is anybody here with the new firmware as i would like to know about it. My firmware is 2005.0. Is it possible to have SamyGo extensions on the new firmware and how much it takes to switch between the channels, what about DTS support etc.

Even i have the B659 series television of Samsung and i guess new firmware that is 3000.2 would be better then an older one but i guess upgrading the firmware is a single way process which means that you can not downgrade the firmware once you have installed the new one. So just because of this reason, I would first collect as much as information about it then will go for upgrading.

    latest firmware for Samsung B750 & B650

Yes, Latest Firmware of Samsung TVs has been launched on 27th of April 2010 and i guess there would not be much difference in this firmware comparing to an older one. Actually there are some changes have made such as pressing the INFO button takes it to an energy usage. And there would be some added widgets for sure in the new firmware. I am not sure as i have not even touched this 3000.2 firmware of Samsung.

Have just modernized to the new firmware have not seen many changes until now, i have seen that when you press an 'INFO' button given on the remote, puts an energy usage gauge in company with your remote battery level in a little icon given at the bottom right corner of your tv, but I am not sure whether it is a change because of firmware or not.

    firmware T CHU7DEUC 3000

Though i have not tested the latest firmware provided by the Samsung but i guess they have not made much changes in it. One of the main thing which i did not liked about it is that they have not updated the Media Play which so that you can PAUSE, FF and REW from a DLNA device.
I think this thing was needed in the new firmware but unluckily samsung have not noticed it.

I have seen some strange things about the new firmware (3000.2) of Samsung TVs and it is regarding the media play given in the firmware.
Actually I can do pause, fast forward or rewind when I tried to play WMV file but the crappy things started when I gone back, It took so much time and it was almost like not responding. And yes, DIVX pause / ff / rw didn't work at all.

Whatever would be the changes in the new firmware which has been launched for the Samsung TVs are not going to impress me as i have no problem while using the Samsung B750 and i do not think i do have any kind of need to update my TVs firmware. And most common reason for not upgrading my firmware is that i would not be able to downgrade it.
