How can i add "Read Mail" button to the IE7 toolbar

I am a Windows Vista user and for surfing internet i use Internet Explorer 7 as my default browser. From last couple of days, my Read Mail button was not working properly, there was no response after clicking the said button. While workaround i accidentally removed the Read Mail button form the toolbar and now i am not able to get it back. Could you guys please make me know how can i add the Read Mail button to the IE7 toolbar ? Thanks for all your kindness.

The Read Mail button in Internet Explorer is really very helpful in many ways like for reading mail, to send a link in an e-mail message, or to send a Web page in an e-mail message. Anyways, just follow these step by step process to add the Read Mail button to the toolbar:-

    • Start Internet Explorer 7.
    • On the toolbar, click Tools, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
    • In the Customize Toolbar dialog box, click Read Mail under Available toolbar buttons, click Add, and then click Close.

    Thats it !!

After you add the Read Mail button, you may have to resize the toolbar to see the button. If you cannot resize the toolbar, it may be locked. To unlock the toolbar, click Tools on the toolbar, point to Toolbars, and then click Lock the Toolbars to unlock the toolbar.

You can also use the "Send a Link" feature to send a link to the current Web page in an e-mail message. To do so, Start Internet Explorer 7. On the toolbar, click Page, and then click Send Link by Email.

In case if your Read Mail button is not working properly again than instead of removing it from the toolbar, just go through this troubleshoot:-

Click Start, select Default Programs and click on Set your default programs

Now Select your mail client from the list

Once done click on Set this program as default, and click OK

Thats it.. I hope you will get the issue fixed.
