    Access IMAP email through firewall

I always use IMAP access to check my Gmail account from my mobile phone. I recently activated a new plan on my apple i phone but it restricts traffic to http ports. I cannot access my email through that data plan because it uses different port no. Any suggestions?

IMAP creates a constant connection between mail clients (from your i phone) and Gmail. When you use imap it changes the given port address of browser to sufficient port no.
