    Transferring files to Internet

    My computer would provide its customers with an application to transfer large files (over 3GB) between the position of our clients and server. Obviously the file must not become corrupt and if it crashes (disconnection or other) transfer should resume from the crash. The connection must be made by SSH2 encryption and SHA1

    As I do not know much, I should be using socket algo's with encryption and data integrity, workflow management, etc. but before I start I liked your opinion. How to transfer files to Internet?

    Use WinSCP! WinSCP is an open source SFTP client and FTP client for Windows. Its main function is the secure file transfer between a local and a remote computer. Beyond this, WinSCP offers basic file manager functionality. It uses Secure Shell (SSH) and supports, in addition to Secure FTP, also legacy SCP protocol.

    I would recommend PuTTY over WinSCP. PuTTY is also an SSH and telnet client developed for the Windows platform. PuTTY is open source software that is available with source code.

    Some features of PuTTY are:

    * The storing of hosts and preferences for later use.
    * Control over the SSH encryption key and protocol version.
    * Command-line SCP and SFTP clients, called "pscp" and "psftp" respectively.
    * Control over port forwarding with SSH (local, remote or dynamic port forwarding), including built-in handling of X11 forwarding.
    * Emulates most xterm, VT102 control sequences, as well as much of ECMA-48 terminal emulation.
    * IPv6 support.
    * Supports 3DES, AES, Arcfour, Blowfish, DES.
    * Public-key authentication support.
    * Support for local serial port connections.
    * Self-contained executable requires no installation.

    Tunnelier is an SSH and SFTP client for Windows. It is developed and supported professionally by Bitvise. Tunnelier incorporates one of the most advanced SFTP file transfer clients, with support for the following:
    • automatic resuming, text file awareness, recursive subdirectory transfers;
    • powerful, advanced transfer list management;
    • high speed - up to 5 MB/s when connected to a WinSSHD server, network bandwidth and disk resources permitting;
    • fast responsiveness to user input even when in the middle of multiple file transfers.
