    Removing Ask.Com as default search engine for Mozilla Firefox

    One of my friend is using Windows 7 license version & has an internet connection.... He uses Mozilla FireFox 3.0 version in it....! It is working fine but it has given it a default search engine with ask.com.... he don't want to use it... Can anyone tel me how to change it???? Please Help....!

    This the simple & best solution for any of the user... To change & remove the the Ask.com follow the following steps....????

    1. In the Mozilla Firefox go to Menu Bar.

    2. Now in Menu Bar go to Tools.

    3. In Tools option go to Options.

    4. Now in Options Window do to the Main Tab.

    5. In Main TAB go to the Home Page.

    6. Now in Home Page Text Box Write "http://www.google.co.in/".

    7. & then Press OK

    I have tried all of the above to no avail to remove the malware called Ask.com
    I finally had to resort to reinstalling O/S to remove this junk piece of crap from my computer.
