Receiving emails with large attachments

Hello every members,

My problem is with receiving emails with large attachments.I am not getting any email sent recently with pictures attached. When a pal of me attempted to forward a mail to me, it getting bouncing back with a statement that said the email was too big. I also can't figure out how much available free space I have.Any body here to help me out

According to my knowledge the maximum email size is 10mb. Most pop mail servers are which vary between 5mb and 10mb. The specific time you will be able to be deal with huge file is with a corporate mail server. But i believe even with that most are still associated at 10mb.

If you forward e-mails with attachments free Windows Live Hotmail accounts are able to make e-mails with attachments up to 10 MB, which enables customers to forward mails with attachments up to 20 MB. The receiving limit is approximately equal as the sending limit. So, if you have a free Windows Live Hotmail account, then you will obviously have issues receiving an e-mail with attachments that total to 15 MB in size.

You have to face a lot of troubles with huge emails... while the internet in common is becoming more capable, many users have corporate limits and there are tool limits as already specified.I use the above for a company who normally forwards and receives attachments around 50MB (unencoded) per text and it works astonishingly for me
