hi, i was wondering if u could point me in the right direction where i could get more info on fta saterlite from direct tv. i have most of the equipment needed just need the guidance to go further.

Direct TV dont have FTA channels.
You need at least 30" dish & Ku LNBF for getting the benifit of a good FTA receiver.

Although these channels are described as free, in some cases the viewer does in fact pay for them. Some are paid directly by payment of a licence fee (as in the case of the BBC) or voluntary donation.
