Trouble connecting to Hotmail Server

I am having trouble connecting to hotmail, when i try to log on to hotmail i get an error message "Page Cannot Be Displayed". I am using internet explorer 7. Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

If you are having trouble connecting to hotmail clear your History folder and Temporary Internet folders. To do this, follow these steps:

• Start Internet Explorer.
• On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
• On the General tab, click Clear History. When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.
• In the Temporary Internet Files pane, click Delete Files. When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.

If you are getting Error: "Page cannot be displayed" then you may just have a cache problem, you can clear cache of IE .Did you install new software, remove software, or update software recently? If you are using ADSL or DSL make sure that 'dial whenever a network connection is not present' is not enabled. Use 'never dial a connection' instead.

Log in to Hotmail > Click on Help, in the upper right corner of the Hotmail page > Click on "Contact Us" It will display the windows with "Standard Services" list.Include as much information as possible. Then select appropriate select and Fill out the form and press Submit.
