You cannot disable "this page contains both secure and nonsecure items" error message. When you receive the error message, you can click Yes, No, or More Info. If you click Yes, the Web page displays both the secure and non-secure items. If you click No, the non-secure items are not displayed on the Web page and the Secure Lock indicator is displayed on the status bar. If you click More Info, the Downloading insecure content from a secure Web site Help topic is displayed.
This error message is an indication that the Web site contains both secure and non-secure items. Whenever your browser views secure web pages it usually displays a lock or a key telling the viewer the data shown on this particular web page is secure and safe. To disable page contains both secure and nonsecure items error message in IE6 > Check out Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level > Miscellaneous > Display mixed content. By default its set to prompt, reset it to Enable.
To disable "this page contains both secure and nonsecure items" error message. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security >Highlight the Internet zone > Select the Custom Level button > change Display Mixed Content from Prompt to Enable > OK > Yes > OK.
