    Corrupt IFO / BUP files

    I have got some burned movies dvd-r but that not working in the dvd player, But I could get the VOB files to play on the computer. I tried DVD Shrink bu providing me error about IFO / BUP file patching failed Invalid Ifo/Bup file what is wrong can any one help me ?

    usually the DVD structure (VIDEO_TS folder with files inside. IFO. BUP. VOB) is not compatible with the cd unless to make a miniDVD (maybe that's why you were not given the structure) That said the simplest thing to do is to bring these files to Hard Disk with a simple copy paste.     If you insert a DVD into a player from a PC can navigate like a hard disk and find out what files and directories are created in the digitization of a film.

    As for the files, we find them all (or almost) with the same extensions, namely:

    . IFO file contains information on chapters, subtitles and on sull'audio
    . BUP file is a file backup of the IFO file
    . VOB file contains video, audio subtitles and menus

    Turning to the directory, we can find 3 to 4 but that most essential and mandatory that there should always be a DVD in the VIDEO_TS.

    DVD Decrypter is a software application that can create backup disc images of the DVD-Video structure of DVDs. It can be used to image any DVD, but controversially it is especially useful for decrypting copy-protected movies. The program can also burn images to disc check here and download
