This can be because of Add-ons, First Disable Add-ons. To do this go to Tools -> Add-on Manager, and uncheck the addons.

If then also IE doesn't starts then disable the third party extensions . To do this In Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced. Uncheck "Third party extensions". Click Ok & Reboot computer.

Run msconfig.exe and msinfo32.exe and look for suspicious entries in the Startup and uninstall if you have installed any unknown application recently.

First clear IE cache. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab. Under Temporary Internet Files, click "Delete Files" button. Click OK.

Second Reset IE settings. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs. Click on "Reset Web Settings" button. Go to Advanced tab and click "Restore Defaults" button. Go to Security tab and move the bar to Medium or Default. Click OK. Close all browsers. Reboot the computer.

If still doesn't solve the issue then Uninstall the IE and Download the Original setup copy from Microsoft site and then Reinstall it.

    Launching IE with add-ons disabled:

    • Click START–>RUN
    • Type iexplore -extoff

You can also create a shortcut so that you can always run Internet Explorer this way.

    1. Right-click on the Desktop
    2. New–>Shortcut
    3. Enter in iexplore -extoff
