Can you make use of createTextField option of the MovieClip object to build a new, empty text field as a child of the movie clip that calls the method. Use the remove TextField option to delete a text field made with createTextField.
to control the appearance of the text field on stage, utilize the TextField object. TextField is used to control the alpha, borders, and font embedding, as well as the string content of the field.

May be you try with a small movie clip and create its instance name after that on their site they made it. also if you clicked on the movie clip that it would say its name for instance. When you create a new symbol the name you put in at that dialog is for the library. To give each movie clip that is placed on the stage an instance name click the instance that you wish to name first to give it focus. Now if the properties panel isn't already open press CTRL+F3 to bring it up.

Names were only really applicable for Movie Clips up to Flash 5 instance, address buttons which serves this instance names in MX, it allows you .so immediately run through how to make a clip with an instance name. Locate a new file and hit Ctrl F8 will create a new symbol.name the movie click you want and apply the changes.
